Our Little Vampire

Do you see them?

Let's skip all the middle teeth and go straight for the fangs coming in!

Wind Cave, Rudy's & Styracosaurus Hair

We had an awesome President's Day weekend.  One more spontaneous than some.  We decided to hike, but usually we stick to easy trails.  We went to Mesa and did the Murkle Trail, but decided it was too easy, so we went up the hill on a moderate Vista Trail.  Logan heard their was a Wind Caves Trail and he has a fascination with caves.  That was a difficult trail.  We thought we would only get part way until it was too difficult, but these troopers of ours made it the whole way only a bit battered.  If all "difficult" trails in Arizona are like the Wind Caves trail, we've got this!  Forgot our camera though.  Finally calling it a cave was a bit of a disappointment, it's just a nook in the mountain where the wind whips through.

Totally new favorite BBQ place.  Rudy's turkey is out of this world!  So good.  Who knew one would rave about BBQ with turkey.

Haha, this morning Logan styled his hair.  It initially had 3 spikes which he informed me was Triceratops hair.  The spikes fell, but to no avail, he had Styracosaurus hair with 1 spike in front. Creativity points!

My Valentines

If I didn't know better I would have thought I lived in Oregon with this overcast weather and rain, except that everyone has umbrellas out for a light sprinkle and Logan is not allowed out on the playground for recess.

Outside that side note, Valentines and donuts are our favorite way to celebrate Valentines.

Reconnaissance Mission

When Daddy's away the kids play :)

My two favorite little people!

Our Sunday walk took quite the turn.  I was learning how to skateboard some.  We went to the parking lot at the school.  Well, as I was skateboarding the skateboard slipped out from under me and flew across the street and straight into the storm drain.  Seriously the ONLY storm drain in that parking lot, you would have thought I was aiming for it.  Logan was crying, upset at me.  We tried to convince him to crawl into the hole.  He then started hiding in the car.  With some creativity, it was ours again...didn't think we'd have a reconnaissance mission in a storm drain as part of our day, hah!

The boys reveled in the rescued board.

Morning Routine

It hit me the other day when we were going through old home videos that I may be missing recording some parts in our life that seem monotonous.  This is our routine every morning when we arrive to school.  Logan loves to hop on top of the stroller and reach over to hug Everly and chase her lips for a kiss.  She does not seem too keen on these lip kisses as her head thrashes side to side, but Logan gets a kick out of planting one on her.  One day she'll outsmart him, I think she forgot her spitting weapon!

The Way to Travel

This is Logan's favorite way to travel...

Crawler

We have a crawler, this is next to one of the first times she has crawled more than one hand over hand.  Love this as it is mixed with her long time army crawl.  NOTHING is safe!  It wasn't safe before, but man she's fast at getting to naughty things!!
