We had an awesome President's Day weekend. One more spontaneous than some. We decided to hike, but usually we stick to easy trails. We went to Mesa and did the Murkle Trail, but decided it was too easy, so we went up the hill on a moderate Vista Trail. Logan heard their was a Wind Caves Trail and he has a fascination with caves. That was a difficult trail. We thought we would only get part way until it was too difficult, but these troopers of ours made it the whole way only a bit battered. If all "difficult" trails in Arizona are like the Wind Caves trail, we've got this! Forgot our camera though. Finally calling it a cave was a bit of a disappointment, it's just a nook in the mountain where the wind whips through.
Totally new favorite BBQ place. Rudy's turkey is out of this world! So good. Who knew one would rave about BBQ with turkey.
Haha, this morning Logan styled his hair. It initially had 3 spikes which he informed me was Triceratops hair. The spikes fell, but to no avail, he had Styracosaurus hair with 1 spike in front. Creativity points!
