4 Month Appointment

Oh man!  Logan was begging me this morning to go with me to Everly's 4 month doctor appointment.  He came.  He was asking if she'd get a shot and would tell me how it's gonna hurt her.  I explained what the shots were for and that they were checking other things.  Sounds like a very typical boring run of the mill morning.  We get in there and after measurements the doctor offers the flu shots.  She then adds that my son can get them too.  I don't think he was listening as there was no reaction from him.  I told her that we may as well.  I felt like kind of an awful mom.  The appointment quickly turned dramatic.  I told him what was up once the doctor left and it was tears and shaking.  Once the nurse came in I asked Logan who should go first.  He said Everly.  Well, Everly cried and Logan hit the deck.  He jumped and hid under his dad's seat.  I wanted to die...stifling laughter.  Who knew this was all going to turn on Logan.  He survived.  I bet that kid is NEVER going to ask to go to Everly's appointments again :)
