Strawberry season was so early this year (granted these pictures were from May). Logan and I decided to give Sauvie Island a whirl and we got the mother load of strawberries! Logan was into the strawberry picking for what...5 minutes. Then it turned into time to chuck dirt clods at mom. I wasn't going to let him defeat our goal of enough strawberries for strawberry jam. I assumed it would take the whole cardboard box they provided. Boy...did I over-estimate it. It made two recipes of strawberry jam and many leftover to freeze whole. Overall it was a new adventure for us...as far as the world of strawberry picking goes.
I should have taken a shot of the wheels on this wagon...entirely trashed. It ended with me just dragging it along as Logan would not travel any other way...always an adventure!
